Campervan maker Mammoth Overland has rolled out its latest product, a trailer home called Extinction Level Event (ELE for short). In addition to having an armored body, it even has armor plating on the undercarriage.
Check out the entrance door that opens and closes like the submarine hatch for maximum sealing. There is a roof hatch as well, a drone launchpad, an air filtering system, and a few night vision cameras mounted on a telescopic monopod.
If all of the above doesn’t placate your paranoia, consider that the vehicle has a feature meant to scare away bears: once you push the corresponding button, the camper will stink up the area around it with a unique sharp stink that bears cannot tolerate, the manufacturer claims.
Other than that, there are tanks for fresh and used water on board, four battery packs sized 100 Ampere-hours each, solar panels, a giant TV set, an air conditioner, a fully stocked kitchen and all other things you may need in an apocalypse.
Prices start from $67,000 for the base version.
