Mercedes-AMG has released a video featuring the A45 hatchback, the strongest vehicle in the A-Class family coming soon. The footage shows the camouflage-clad performance car drifting along a rain-drenched racetrack.
Rumors suggest the car will get an AWD system along with a 2.0L turbo V4 engine rated at 400+ hp (300+ kW), linked to an 8-speed DSG transmission.
The A45 features the so-called “Drift Mode” which turns off automatic lane stabilization and shifts the entire engine torque to the rear wheel.
At the latest Paris Motor Show, Mercedes-AMG introduced another new hatchback model called the A35. The car received a 2.0L turbo V4 engine rated at 304 hp (226 kW) and a rapid start feature that enabled it to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in under five seconds.
