Carlex Design churns out another yacht-themed Mercedes-AMG G-Class

Polish customizer Carlex Design has been producing its Mercedes G-Class Yachting Edition series for four years now, and the latest addition to the lineup looks particularly elegant and style-conscious with its abundant mods inside and out.

The passenger space is dominated by gorgeous off-white leather covering everything from the seats and door panels to the ceiling. The steering wheel rim, the floor and the trunk area are lined with precious wood, and not even the bucket seats at the front can disturb the overall atmosphere of understated opulence.

Body mods are minimal and somewhat controversial, too. The radiator grille, the spare wheel holder and the lower door panels sport tuner’s badges. The wheel arches are occupied by rally-style wheels concealing red brake calipers behind the spokes. In keeping with the maritime theme, the dominant body color is navy blue.

The off-roader is on sale in Europe right now for an eye-watering price of €329,000. Carlex points out that the wheels and the accessories aren’t even included in the quoted amount. It isn’t clear how much they would add to the total.
