Mitsubishi has finally unveiled the new Delica Mini hatchback in Japan. The Kei car is targeting outdoor leisure enthusiasts with its all-wheel drive system.
To that end, it wears a plastic body kit lending it a ‘rugged’ look and has a couple of skid plates. Depending on the trim level and drivetrain layout, the wheels can be 14 or 15 inches large. The new AWD version only comes with the larger 15-inch wheel set wrapped in all-terrain tires.
All power comes from a tiny 0.66-liter engine rated at 52 PS (51 hp / 38 kW) and 60 Nm (44 lb-ft) of torque. Turbocharging the engine gets you another 12 PS (12 hp / 9 kW) and 40 Nm (30 lb-ft). Driver aids on board include automatic high beams, cruise control and some others.
