Matt Farah’s unique Ford Mustang SSP goes up on sale

Matt Farah, owner of the YouTube channel Smoking Tire, has put his 1988 Fox-Body Ford Mustang SSP on sale. He promised to spend half of the money earned on charity.

The Ford SSP car series was created to be used by the California Highway Patrol in 1988 – 1994. Compared to the standard Mustang build, the SSP is exceptionally lightweight, which means better tuning potential.

The unique Ford Mustang SSP comes powered by a five-liter engine pumping out 385 hp (287 kW). The engine works in conjunction with a five-speed manual transmission. The car also features independent rear suspension, Bilstein springs and shock absorbers, Mustang Cobra brakes, 18-inch HRE wheels and an RDB LA body kit.

The interior of the vehicle features Recaro seats with racing-grade safety belts, colorful fabric upholstery and a roll cage.
