Disco on Wheels: Listen to this insane Chevrolet Tahoe blast music from its 62 speakers

Jay Jones, a private car enthusiast who prefers being called Joka by friends, just took the wraps off a totally bonkers Chevrolet Tahoe build boasting as many as 62 loudspeakers! He said the entire system was capable of outputting around 160 dB, which is comparable to the sound pressure level of a jet plane taking off.

The car is still SO much more than just the disco on wheels, though… It sports a bright bluish-green paintjob, rides on humongous 30-inch rollers and has colorful pulsating LEDs on its rear- and side-facing speakers. Heck, even the brake discs are wrapped in their own LED stripes that pulsate to the music!

The center console of the vehicle carries an enormous touchscreen display of the infotainment system. The equalizer screen has been programmed to display Pac-Man chasing ghosts when idle. And if you feel like cranking up the bass, you are going to need to twist the head of that Joker figure on the dash…
