Diesel Brothers roll out a six-wheeled monstrosity that was once Ford F550

Can you even imagine anything more brutal than the six-wheeled, 600-hp / 450-kW Ford Velociraptor 6×6 pickup truck built by Hennessey Performance? If yes, chances are you’re thinking about a similar conversion with the Ford F550 at its core.

And this is exactly what the Diesel Brothers team has come up with! The tuners have used the hashtag #velociraptorkiller to announce the project on their social network pages, obviously hinting at it being superior to what Hennessey did.

They started with a 2018 Ford Super Duty F550 Platinum truck. In order to fit in a third axle, they had to extend the chassis by approximately 1.2 meters (4 feet) (we don’t have exact numbers, unfortunately).

The monster truck then received an aggressive front fascia from CARiD, including a front bumper, a radiator grille, a hood with a motor dome, and a winch. It also gained a lot of extra ground clearance, owing to a major extent to new 22-inch GRID Wheels wrapped in colossal 40-inch Nitto Trail Grapplers.

Chances are good that Diesel Brothers also made a number of tweaks in the cabin and under the hood, but the company revealed no further information.

As for Hennessey Performance, the tuner is already working on a suitable response. In the summer of 2018, the company revealed early 3D sketches of the mind-boggling Hennessey Goliath 6×6 based on the Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.
