Clash of the Titans: Carwow pits three hot SUVs up against each other

British automotive website Carwow.com has held a racing event between three full-sized crossover/SUVs. First, they held a drag race between a Range Rover Sport SRV and a Porsche Cayenne Turbo on an asphalt road. A Mercedes-AMG G 63 then joined the two cars for a race through a grassy field.

The latest-gen Cayenne featured in the video comes equipped with a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 engine rated at 550 hp (410 kW) and 770 Nm (568 lbft) of torque. It needs 4.1 seconds to get going at 100 km/h (62 mph).

The bulky Range Rover Sport SVR packs a 5.0L engine with 575 hp (430 kW) at its disposal and accomplishes the standard sprint in 4.5 seconds.

The Mercedes-AMG G 63 sources its power from a 4.0L V8 unit producing 585 hp (436 kW) and does the standard sprint in the same 4.5s.
