New Land Rover Defender leaks in interior photos

Car spotters have managed to make a photo of the next-gen Land Rover Defender. Based on it, the SUV gets a redesigned fascia, an all-digital instrument panel, and a projection display.

Also visible are a modest-sized infotainment touchscreen, hardware knobs for volume and climate control, and a loose gear stick.

Multiple pre-production copies of the Land Rover Defender are currently undergoing various trials in the North American forested wilderness. The launch is scheduled for 2020, but no further dates exist yet. Assembly will took place in Slovakia.

Buyers will be able to get their Defender with a standard or an elongated wheelbase. A pickup truck and an ell-electric version of the Defender may both get released in the future.
