Fold to launch an e-SUV in China in 2H 2019

Ford has joined efforts with its long-standing partner, Jiangling Motors Corporation, to design and produce what it calls an electric version of its Territory SUV. The car is essentially a mildly tweaked Yusheng S330.

According to the Chinese subsidiaryof the North American marque, the car primarily targets young families who live in big cities. It comes with 360 kilometers (224 miles) of NEDC driving range.

As far as the tech is concerned, the Ford Territory EV packs a number of advanced safety features and electronic driver aids. It ships with a 10.25” digital dash, a 10” multimedia touchscreen, voice support, climate control etc.

The interior sports a perforated leather trim with painted plastic ornaments, polished surfaces and faux carbon inserts.

The Ford Territory EV will arrive to the authorized dealers throughout China in the second half of 2019, the company reports.
