Cadillac CT4 full exterior leaks in spy photos

Cadillac’s latest model, the C4 sedan/saloon, has been spotted on a public road without a trace of test mule cladding on. While this likely means the official premiere is right around the corner, let us still look at the pics thus far revealed.

The car only has a few features to distinguish it from its ‘V’ version that premiered in late May. These include the lower front bumper, the lack of black trim elements, and the differently-shaped exhaust tips. Other than that, the two are pretty much identical.

Industry pros expect the compact vehicle to ship with the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine as the one the XT4 SUV uses. The engine comes rated at 237 hp (177 kW) and links to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Less than a month ago, Cadillac showed us the CT4-V, a sports sedan/saloon armed with a new 324-hp (242-kW) turbo engine that came as a replacement of the old ATS mill. The company said using a sports-grade chassis enabled it to distribute the load perfectly between the axles. On the outside, the car had a modest-sized trunk spoiler and quad exhaust finishers.
