Emory rolls out a 1968 Porsche 911K restomod

A little while ago, Emory Motorsport showed us a restored and modernized Porsche 356 RSR Outlaw. Today, the same team follows up with another spectacular job: this unique 1968 Porsche 911K Outlaw.

The overall design looks clearly inspired by the Porsche 908-010 racecar series of just 10 vehicles. Furthermore, only five of those were closed-top, like this restomod.

A 2.5-liter, six-cylinder engine rated at 190 hp (142 kW) resides in the engine bay, accompanied by a Weber 40 IDA 3C carburetor, a Porsche 935 air intake system and a modern 5-gear stick shift. A state-of-the-art software system monitors the proper operation of all principal drivetrain components.

The vintage car rides on five-spoke fifteen52 rims wrapped in Pirelli CN36 tires and held in place by 935 Carrera Centerlock hubs. The brake calipers stem from the 911 S series, but the wheels are a bespoke model.

The cabin of Emory Motorsport’s latest restomod houses red bucket seats, Momo safety harnesses, a vintage instrument cluster, a minimalistic steering wheel and a stylish-looking gear stick.
