U.S. coachbuilder considers Cadillac Escalade-V, Chevrolet Tahoe SS coupe conversions

As you may remember, Land Rover once wanted to launch a Range Rover SV Coupe. The announced production run was 999 units, each with all the qualities of the donor vehicle preserved, sans body shape. However, the project was ultimately shelved due to uncertain market prospects. Today, Custom Car Co. from Georgia, USA takes over where LR left off.

The company has posted a couple sketches of its proposed coupe conversions of America’s two popular luxury SUVs, the Cadillac Escalade-V and the Chevrolet Tahoe SS. No live photos were provided, and no prototypes likely exist, either. The auto shop invites customers to make pre-orders, promising to begin production as soon as it gets enough orders to work with.

To us, the sketches actually look very promising. The new rear end with the exhaust tips at the middle, the new grille, the deep concave rims and the lowered stance – there is much here to love. Furthermore, Custom Car Co. says it will overhaul the interior and boost the engine if needed.
