Volvo Polestar 1 drives out of a video game and into reality

Fans of the newest Need for Speed: Heat will immediately recognize this sports car for the custom Volvo Polestar 1. Sekrit Studios brought the unique ride to SEMA, but other tuners participated in its creation as well.

The yellow track tool flaunts a gigantic front spoiler, matching side flaps, and a ventilated hood. Moving on to the sides, the fenders and the skirts have been widened. The rear end is dominated by an aggressive diffuser and a light-alloy rear wing that looks like something that belongs in aerospace industry.

Californian tuner Sadistic Iron Werks picked the suspension kit and wheels for the model. The choice fell on height-adjustable air-cushioned suspension and Rotiform forged rims painted a deep black tone.

The car retains its stock powertrain specs, but this is hardly a problem, given that it is a hybrid with 600 hp (447 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 pound-feet) of torque at its disposal.
