Ferrari teases its new supercar in a glasses reflection

Ferrari will be unveiling an all-new supercar in a mere couple hours, but in the meantime, it wants you to have a look at this teaser pic, where a blurred silhouette of the car can be seen in the reflection of a pair of glasses lying on a table.

The photo caption reads, La Nuova Dolce Vita (“New Sweet Life”). This might be a reference to the Portofino coupe, a new prototype of which has recently been spotted on the streets (see the photos). One of the latest videos from Ferrari, which depicts scenic locations of Rome, seems to reinforce that theory, since the photographer said he spotted the mule in Rome.

That said, a possibility remains that the newcomer is entirely different. One rumor has it that the alleged Portofino successor will ditch the rear seat row in favor of a shortened wheelbase. The model will also likely change its name, but retain the old 3.9-liter, 600-hp (447-kW) engine with 760 Nm (561 lb-ft) of maximum torque. Another rumor claims that the new car will get a hybrid powertrain based on a gasoline V6.
