First Subaru-Toyota e-SUV revealed along with launch timeframe

Subaru and Toyota have been working together to design a fully electric SUV with the design of the former and tech of the latter company.

These two images show an early mockup of the vehicle. The body itself is quite edgy, and the overhangs are unusually short for a car of this type. The bulky wheel arches are emphasized with black color.

Subaru says that the SUV – which does not have a name yet – will be out in 2025, but not any sooner. The Japanese carmaker wants to switch its entire range to electric power within the next 15 years; by 2030, it wants 40% of its range to be hybrid or all-electric.
