OzX Corp teases a trailer camper concept with self-driving capabilities

The trailer attachment comes painted a swanky black, boasts off-road tires and can move independently from the truck thanks to a hybrid powertrain that produces 11 hp (8.2 kW) in normal mode and 22 hp (16.4 kW) in boost mode.

The unit can automatically park itself after being detached from its towing vehicle, and can even assist it by providing the abovementioned bit of own power.

Other notable features include regenerative braking and a fully digital diagnostics system for all main units and components that should result in easier troubleshooting and maintenance.

The project is still far from complete, and OzX Corp refuses to name approximate launch dates just yet.
