Toyota schedules its tiniest SUV for premiere on February 10

The Japanese automotive giant will be showing us its most compact crossover utility vehicle to date in three weeks’ time. The supermini will enter production in Onnaing, France and sell in Europe priced a notch lower than the CH-R.

The model name is being kept secret so far, but we know on official terms that the car utilizes the Toyota TNGA FWD chassis. Most of its components are unitized with the fourth-gen Toyota Yaris hatchback shown on the video here.

According to still unconfirmed rumors, the SUV will ship with a 1.5-liter gasoline three-cylinder rated at 89 hp (66 kW) and 142 Nm (105 kW). A hybrid version is also quite likely.
