DS to reveal a new executive saloon on February 24

Citroen’s premium subdivision has posted a teaser video of its upcoming business sedan/saloon that will top the range.

By all indications, this is what we saw when the company submitted patent photos to the Chinese Patent Office half a year ago. China sales may actually start ahead of Europe ones, as is often the case with other brands.

The new saloon sports a typical DS exterior and comes based on the EMP2 unitized platform. In its top spec, the car will get a plug-in hybrid powertrain based on a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

The equipment list promises to be quite rich, with LED headlights and numerous driver aids, such as AEB and adaptive cruise control.

The premiere will be held on February 24, 2020, and the sales will start later in the year.
