2021 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo spied testing on the streets

Car spotters have tracked down a prototype of the facelifted 2021 Porsche Panamera in its Sport Turismo body (estate/wagon). The second generation has been on the market for four years now.

The limited camo enables a peek at the redesigned front bumper and brake lights. The tech specs remain unannounced, but it would be logical to expect the range-topping Turbo S E-Hybrid to get a slight power boost from its current 680 PS (671 hp, or 500 kW). All-electric range extension would also be welcome, given that the current Panamera only manages 36–38 kilometers (22.4–23.6 miles) of WLTP-rated driving range.

The Panamera 4S might receive a mild-hybrid upgrade to its 2.9-liter V6 rated at 440 hp (328 kW), while the Turbo (550 hp / 410 kW) and GTS (460 hp / 343 kW) versions might be able to squeeze some extra horsepower out of their gasoline engines, without the need to go hybrid like the rest.

Whatever the actual case, the refreshed Porsche Panamera lineup will be revealed later in the year.
