Marvel at the unique Fux Fuchsia Hispano-Suiza hypercar

Resurrected automaker Hispano-Suiza has posted pics of a one-off Carmen EV, a hypercar adorned with a fuchsia livery against the order of Michael Fux.

Fux is an avid car collector with over 150 vehicles in his garage, including 12 Rolls-Royces and the first U.S.-spec McLaren Senna fitted with 500,000+ dollars’ worth of McLaren Special Operation mods and upgrades.

The businessman enjoys inventing funny-sounding names for his vehicles, but this Hispano-Suiza takes no awards for originality: it is called simply “Fux Fuchsia”. The same livery already adorns a McLaren 720S and a Rolls-Royce Dawn in his collection (watch the video for these two).

The color isn’t the only unique feature of the vehicle, however. The copper-tinted accents and open rear wheels betray that this is no regular Carmen, but an ever more exotic Carmen Boulogne. As such, it weighs 60 kg (132 lbs) less than its production counterpart, packs 1,114 hp instead of 1,020, makes 97 km/h (60 mph) in 2.6 seconds and maxes out at 290 km/h (180 mph). Its electric driving range amounts to 400 kilometers (248 miles), according to the NEDC measurement standard.

Out of the 19 Hispano-Suiza Carmen vehicles to be produced, only five emerge in the Boulogne version, making this coupe an extremely exclusive – and expensive – purchase. Fux does not talk money, but the Boulogne base spec starts at €1.65 million in Europe.
