MTM builds a 1,001-hp Lamborghini Urus RR

Motoren Technik Mayer GmbH (MTM for short) has carried out the third and final power upgrade of the Lamborghini Urus. The ultra-deluxe SUV received the “RR” suffix along with record-breaking 1,001 horsepower (746 kW) at the crank.

Regrettably, the tuner still hasn’t provided any details about the project, including other related specs and sprint times. One thing we know is that the torque had to be capped at 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) to avoid malfunctions. The other is that the entire engine and drivetrain had to be nearly redone from scratch – but this is hardly surprising, given the scope of the changes and the unprecedented amount of power.

On the outside, the swanky Italian flaunts sporty orange stripes down the sides, tuner’s badges throughout, a couple of carbon-fiber parts and 23-inch bi-color wheels (likely ADV.1 Wheels, but don’t hold us to it). F-Cantronic II air suspension control module was used to drop the ride height.
