Jeep giving away Wrangler paintjobs in UK in September

If you live in Great Britain and are thinking of purchasing a Jeep Wrangler, the company has an incentive running that might persuade you to do so within the next two weeks.

Until the end of September, all Wrangler buyers can choose to have their SUV finished in red, orange, yellow or blue at no added cost. All four options usually go for £675.

According to Karen Haller’s take on the ties between colors and human psychology, people leading an active lifestyle will be justified in picking red, while optimists will appreciate the sunny yellow. Straightforward, child-like personalities with a pinch of mischief may favor orange, and dreams will go for blue.

Earlier on, Jeep debuted the plug-in hybrid version of the Wrangler named 4xe (see video). The new spec includes a 2.0L turbo rated at 272 hp (203 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, a starter adding 45 hp (33 kW) and an electric motor contributing 136 hp (100 kW). The total amounts to 381 hp (284 kW) and 637 Nm (470 lb-ft) of torque.
