Video: Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 buffs up, takes on a McLaren 720S

How would you estimate the chances of a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 beating a McLaren 720S in a drag race? About zero point zero? That sounds fair, but do note that this Camaro has been working out a lot.

When the owner of this Chevy realized his ride was a whopping 320 kilos (700 lbs) heavier than the British supercar, he decided to make up for it with sheer power. He fitted the 6.2-liter V8 TT with a methanol injection system and made it work with E85 instead of gasoline. He mentioned some “other mods” without delving into details. One way or another, the car ended up with 800+ hp (600+ kW) hitting the crank and slightly over 700 hp (522 kW) reaching the wheels via a ten-speed automatic transmission.
