Video: Porsche 911 Turbo S vs. Lamborghini Huracan Performante vs. Ferrari 488 Pista

CarWOW has posted another video on YouTube with a showdown between the latest Porsche 911 Turbo S, a Lambo Huracan Performante Spyder, and the exotic Ferrari 488 Pista.

The Pista is the most powerful, lightweight and expensive of the three, weighing it at only 1,385 kilos (3,053 lbs). It uses a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 rated at 720 PS (710 hp / 529 kW) and 770 Nm (568 lb-ft) of torque. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission sends the momentum to the rear wheels, and prices in Great Britain start from £250,000.

The Spyder also emplys a seven-gear DCT with gear pre-selection, but it packs a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 and sends the power to both axles. The nominal output amounts to 640 PS (631 hp / 471 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft). It weighs in at 120 kg (265 lbs) above the Ferrari, but costs £12,000 less.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S is by far the most affordable of the bunch, starting nearly £100,000 below the Prancing Horse and £90,000 below the Raging Bull. Its engine is an opposite-six turbo mill with 3.75 liters of displacement, 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. An eight-speed dual-clutch transmission drives all four wheels, and the curb weight amounts to 1,640 kg (3,615 lbs).

In the end, the Porsche has managed to pull ahead of the competition in the quarter-mile drag race. The outcomes of other tests proved less unambiguous, however. Watch the video and find out!
