Groupe PSA to electrify its entry-level MPV range next year

Peugeot S.A. intends to unveil all-electric variants of all K9-series commercial vans and MPVs in 2021, specifically those based on the EMP2 platform with Vauxhall, Opel, Citroën, and Peugeot branding.

The vans will get to keep their current platform while receiving the latest e-CMP tech. The assembly will take place in Spain.

All models will ship with 50-kWh batteries and motors rated at 136 PS (134 hp / 100 kW). The torque isn’t disclosed, but around 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) is typical for this powertrain type. The range will probably amount to 320 kilometers (200 miles) or so.
