2023 Audi Q5 E-Tron spotted in a production body

Audi may have never revealed its MEB-based Q4 E-Tron and Q4 Sportback E-Tron yet, but it is apparently already testing a new zero-emission SUV.

The prototype looks like it has a finalized body design, although the lower front grille is missing and the taillights are a temporary stub.

You can tell it is an EV thanks to the missing exhaust tips and, more importantly, the solid fake grille at the front end.

Interestingly enough, the car appears much lower than gas-powered Audi Q models, while its short overhangs hint that it utilizes a native EV chassis and not an ICE platform, like the larger E-Tron model. Logic suggests that it may be called the Q5 E-Tron, especially since official documents by VAG have already mentioned that name.
