Classic Recreations unveils a Bronco restomod

The new Bronco only served to rekindle interest in the original SUV dating back to the 1960s, so Classic Recreations pushed aside its other projects and started building old Bronco restomods.

As per the usual, the overhauled car sports a meticulously restored and repainted body that conceals an all-new powertrain. The 5.0-liter Ford Performance V8 has a radiator with twin cooling fans, a custom fuel system and a MagnaFlow system. The output amounts to 466 PS (460 hp / 343 kW), and an automatic transmission delivers the momentum to all four wheels.

The car utilizes a modern Roadster Shop chassis built on a hardened frame, which is nearly 90 mm (3.5”) wider than that of the original Bronco and features Currie Enterprises solid-beam axles. Fox Racing coilovers enable quick ride height adjustment.

Prices are expectedly high: buying your own Classic Recreations Bronco necessitates at least $224,990 USD. In return, clients get a capable off-roader with a modern air conditioner, a sensor-based multimedia system, and a high-end audio system with a subwoofer.
