Mitsubishi L200 gets a makeover from Arctic Trucks

The Russian branch of Icelandic car tuning company Arctic Trucks has unveiled the AT35, an extensive upgrade package for the Mitsubishi L200. Included are a suspension lift kit, special wheels, and spacers/extenders.

The team has mainly been dealing with Toyotas lately, but its portfolio also includes a Ford F-350 along with a few Mercedes-Benz and Nissan models. The Mitsubishi L200 truck is that marque’s first addition to the list.

The lift kit teams up with new 17-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch tires to raise the car by a total of 50-70 mm (2-3 inches, varies per axle). This modification alone improves the approach angle from 30 to 38 degrees while leaving the departure angle unchanged.

The front wheel span gains 105 mm (4.1”) and the rear wheel span 120 mm (4.7”) of width. Fenders, mudguards and the front bumper also get replaced with wider parts, and the seams receive anti-corrosion treatment.

The AT35 package is obtainable for any L200 specification. It will take a week to install everything, and the result is every bit as road-legal as the original truck.
