2022 Dacia Duster spotted during Canary Islands ad shoot

The second generation of the affordable Dacia Duster crossover came out in Europe four years ago and is now underway to a facelift, judging by this spy shot made on Canary Islands.

Regrettably, only one photo was made that misses many of the essential details. Even so, there is no missing the modified headlight contents: the new LED patterns are reminiscent of the latest Logan and Sandero. The taillights will probably be updated in the same vein.

Nothing is known about the interior and the powertrain of the 2022 Dacia Duster at this moment. The current generation, which you can see in the photos and the video here, sells with 1.2- and 1.6-liter engine options, the former turbocharged to 125 PS (123 hp / 92 kW) and the latter making do with a naturally aspirated 115 PS (113 hp / 85 kW). There is also a 1.5-liter turbo diesel mill available in 90 and 110 PS versions (89 and 108 hp; 66 and 81 kW, respectively).
