Hyundai Custo shows up on official teasers
Hyundai’s new minivan, which is dubbed the Custo, looks much like the latest-gen Tucson with its headlights, radiator grille, and brake light strip at the rear. The doors slide to open, and there is a small spoiler on the roof.
Only few technical specifications have been revealed so far. In China, the minivan will ship with a 1.5-liter petrol engine driving the front wheels with 170 PS (168 hp / 125 kW). It is also 4,950 mm (194.9 inches) long, 1,850 mm (72.9 inches) wide and 1,734 mm (68.2 inches) tall.
Hyundai’s only other MPV on the market right now is the recently launched Staria, which comes in with a choice between a diesel engine worth 177 PS (175 hp / 130 kW) and a petrol one rated at 272 PS (268 hp / 200 kW).
