Ferrari 812 GTS joins the celebrated Novitec N-Largo lineup

German aftermarket company Novitec puts its N-Largo trademark on only the most exquisite and expensive versions of the supercars it modifies – and the Ferrari 812 GTS is the latest entry to make that cut.

A total of 18 units will be offered worldwide with an all-new aerodynamic kit, new wheels and tires, lowered suspension a unique, purpose-built exhaust system available with pure gold coating. The latter feature should improve heat dissipation, enable faster sprints, and help attain higher speeds.

You can just watch the video for an official overview of the project, or read on for our brief summary. Starting with the body kit, it makes the car 2.11 meters (82 inches) wide and comes in two finish options – body-matching and naked carbon. Aside from looking cool, spoilers at both ends are said to have been tested in the wind tunnel for downforce. An optional rear bumper overlay helps the new exhaust tie in better with the rest of the styling cues.

Peek inside the arches for a glimpse of Novitec 10 NL 22x12.5-inch wheels made to look especially wide thanks to a Deep Concave construction. The ultra-light forged set comes wrapped in racing slicks and weighs much less than the stock one.

The 6.5-liter non-turbo V12 under the hood stays as is, but gets a free 40 horsepower (30 kilowatts) courtesy of the new exhaust system mentioned above. Along with new sports-grade catalysts, it raises the output of the 812 GTB powertrain to 840 PS (828 hp / 618 kW) and 751 Nm (554 lb-ft) of torque. The N-Largo version needs only 2.8 seconds to go from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) and maxes out at 345 km/h (214.4 mph).
