Bentley Mulliner Batur crops up in a video

Bentley has shared the first video showcasing its latest one-off grand tourer built by Mulliner. The car borrows its name from Lake Batur of Bali, which is 16 square kilometers large and 88 meters (288 feet) deep.

The full reveal will take place at the Monterey Car Week on August 21, 2022. In the meantime, we are left to stare at the novelty’s mesh grille with red accents, because the teaser isn’t very revealing.

From the powertrain perspective, the Batur is identical to the standard Bentley Bacalar. This implies a W12 under the hood rated at 659 PS (650 hp / 485 kW). Unlike its donor, though, the unique show car boasts new styling meant to preview the marque’s future EV design philosophy.

A total of 12 Bacalar units will be built in total, and the automaker just delivered the 8th earlier this month.
