Icons Of Porsche Festival takes place in Dubai

This year’s Icons Of Porsche gathering in Dubai, UAE was dedicated to Safari Edition vehicles and brought together over 15,000 Porsche enthusiasts.

The exhibition area of 31,000 square feet (2,880 square meters) featured dozens upon dozens of customized sports cars divided into five theme zones. The event also hosted the regional premiere of Porsche’s latest 911 Dakar, GT3 RS and Sport Classic models.

As well, all participants had the opportunity to go on an exciting off-road drive on a specially designed track situated right at the festival site.

Four classic exhibits from the Porsche Museum in Germany stole the limelight of the entire event: a 1978 911 SC Safari, a 1981 924 GTS Rallye, a 1981 911 C 5 (SC) San Remo, and a 1986 959 Paris-Dakar.
