Meet the TechArt GTstreet R Touring, a Porsche 911 tuning kit worth $100k+

Famous tuner TechArt has once again worked its magic on the Porsche 911 Turbo S. We’ve already seen the GTstreet R body kit before, but this particular version of it is called Touring and is coming in a limited run of 25 units priced from $107,500 for the mods alone.

Starting with the most eye-catching thing, it’s the body kit composed of more than 40 carbon-fiber components. Both the front and the rear end have been thoroughly redesigned and the hood, the wheel arches with fenders, the side sills and the air intakes have all been replaced. There is a new ducktail spoiler at the back said to be 60% lighter than OEM and optimized air intakes guaranteed to deliver more cool air to the engine.

All GTstreet R cars ride on forged centerlock wheels sized 20” at the front and 21” at the rear. The suspension is lowered by 25 mm (1 inch) using shortened springs, but those who need a bit of ride height flexibility can opt for coilovers and adjust the lowering within the range of 5–30 mm (0.2”–1.2”).

Aside from that, TechArt re-trims the interior using quality leather, artificial suede, carbon fiber and aluminum. A premium trim package is available for those interested in bespoke details like custom stitching on the seats, piping, leather accents and embossed details.

Last but not least, the stock 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six gets tuned for extra power and torque. The base version ramps up the output to 720 PS (710 hp / 530 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque, while its high-end alternative promises 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft). Opting for the latter lets you launch the car 0-96 km/h (0-60 mph) in 2.5 seconds and hit 350 km/h (217 mph) in a straight line.
