BYD working on a body-on-frame truck

Chinese automaker BYD has nearly finished designing its very own pickup truck.

The company posted images of a brightly camouflaged vehicle without any accompanying text or details. We speculate that it could be based on the same platform and tech as the Leopard 5 SUV and get roughly 500 PS (492 hp / 441 kW).

The full reveal should take place later this year, so stay tuned.
