MegaRexx preps another Ford F-250 for overlanding

MegaRexx Trucks has been producing hardcore off-roaders based on the F-250 chassis for a few years now (see video). Their latest creation is this red truck that boasts a custom bed, a revamped interior and all-new suspension.

It is unknown why the owner decided to replace the stock bed with a new, more angular-looking one. What we do know is that the vehicle now rides on dual-rate springs at the front and progressive leaf springs at the rear. It makes use of Fox Racing 2.5 shock absorbers with remote reservoirs and has new trailing arms and track bars. Aftermarket steering stabilizers round off the list here.

To facilitate driving in limited visibility, the truck now boasts a meter-long (40-inch), dual-row LED bar in front of the grille. The front end is slightly raised to improve the approach angle, and the grille itself isn’t stock, either. It’s a RedRock Baja model sporting a honeycomb pattern.

The interior isn’t shown, but the customization shop says there’s a 1,000W Bang & Olufsen audio system inside along with perforated leather trim and a 12-inch infotainment screen. The owner opted for a high trim level with as many as three trailer assists, so unlike most such builds, this one may actually see some off-road use.
