Tesla slashes FSD prices in North America

According to Electrek, Tesla is still offering its Full-Self Driving (FSD) software suite for its full price on a number of markets, while the United States and Canada get it at a big discount.

Specifically, the U.S. price is now $8,000 (down from $12,000 not long ago). In Canada, it’s 11,000 CAD instead of 16,000.

The company has also removed the middle-ground Enhanced Autopilot option from the configurator app. It used to be a premium option squeezed in between the baseline Autopilot that all Tesla cars come equipped with and the FSD that’s much more expensive. Owners who had already purchased the Enhanced Autopilot in the USA before may now upgrade to FSD for as little as $2,000 (formerly $6,000).

Two weeks ago, the company cut the FSD subscription fee by 50% – from $199 to just $99 per month.
