General Motors LS series engines have made their way into countless vehicles the manufacturer had never intended them for. For years on end, the LS has been the go-to choice of enthusiasts and professional tuners alike thanks to its massive potential. In the latest video by Hoonigan, an LS-swapped 1991 Nissan 240SX goes up against a similar Chevrolet Camaro Mk4.
The Camaro is a year 2002 model packing a six-liter V8 with a nitrous-oxide system. The owner estimates the output at 700-800 horsepower and points out a roll cage making the pony car heavier than stock. The Nissan is similar and churns out around 700 hp, just a little less than the Camaro.
Where things get interesting is the weight. The North American car tips the scales at 1,632 kilos (3,600 pounds), while the Japanese one is at a massive advantage with its 1,270 kg (2,800 pounds). Do you think it will be enough to win? Watch the video to prove your suspicions.
