The new Nissan Z has inherited many parts from its predecessors and a few from other marques as well. For instance, it features the exact same engine as the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400. Will it perform the same or not? YouTuber SamCarLegion just found out.
As we said, both cars use a twin-turbo V6 tuned to deliver identical 405 PS (400 hp / 299 kW) and 475 Nm (350 lb-ft) of torque. However, while the Nissan benefits from a nine-speed JATCO transmission, the Infiniti makes do with an older seven-speed auto gearbox. On the upside, the Infiniti has four driven wheels, while the Z only has two. Then again, the Z weighs considerably less than its rival.
