Car Tuning

This JDM-tuned Porsche 911 Carrera is not for the fainthearted

Irrespectively of the generation, the Porsche 911 is universally recognized and loved throughout the world. However, we wouldn’t vouch for this custom-built example, which looks more like a wild racer than a street-legal car.

The auction holder points out that the same Carrera was on sale six years ago without most of the mods. Its greatest transformation was in 2019, when a new owner bought a full RWB kit and went to town on the stock car. The coupe ended up with its arches and sills cut and extended, front bumper replaced with a more aggressive version, and a humongous rear wing put onto the engine lid along with a secondary spoiler. The top wing was then stickerbombed for extra street racing creds.

The result was resprayed in bright green and outfitted with 18-inch GTS wheels shod in Toyo R888 tires. Further mods included Stoptech calipers, KW suspension parts and a track-ready exhaust system.

One of the videos shows that much has been done in the cabin as well. The seats received a makeover in leather and fabric, a Momo steering wheel was added, and safety harnesses were changed.

Drivetrain upgrades boiled down to a Fabspeed airbox, and the listing provides no numbers to judge its effectiveness by.
