Porsche bringing back the 911 Dakar
The highly desirable Porsche 911 Dakar will be making a comeback soon.
The original off-roading sports car (see video) came out in a production series of 2,500 units. Porsche initially said it had no intention to ever produce another generation. Well, looks like one is coming up, nonetheless.
All technical details remain to be revealed. Rumors claim the car will be powered by the same powertrain as the 911 Carrera GTS. This implies 550 hybrid PS (542 hp / 405 kW) heading for the wheels.
There is still no premiere date.
