Rolls-Royce has unveiled Lunaflair, a one-off Spectre EV ordered by a customer from the United States.
Compared to the standard coupe (see video), the Lunaflair features a holographic pigment that makes it glow and shimmer faintly like the outlines of the Moon. A team of designers needed a year to come up with the unique paint formula, adding fine particles of aluminum and magnesium to it for a pearlescent sheen.
The interior underwent a similar treatment with thousands of LEDs on the doors and the headliner creating an illusion of the night sky.
Rolls-Royce emphasized that it was committed to keeping this car a one-off, meaning the same paint would never be used again.
