Volkswagen’s largest SUV looks dashing in a new kit called Endurance

The FAW-Volkswagen joint enterprise has released an upgrade package dubbed Endurance for its Talagon SUV for China. Here’s what it contains.

The list begins with special bumpers, a large radiator grille with vertical bars coming to replace horizontal ones, an impressively sized trunk lid spoiler, a diffuser, original wheels with white inserts, black trim accents all around, roof-mounted auxiliary lights, and ‘Endurance’ badges.

The interior now uses Alcantara for the seats, the armrest, the steering wheel and the door panels. Wood details adorn the console and the front panel.

At its core, the Talagon Endurance is a top spec coming with a 2.5-liter turbo-six rated at 299 PS (295 hp / 220 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque, a seven-speed DSG, and AWD. The price of the upgrade remains to be announced, but the top spec itself costs from 399,900 Yuan.

The standard Talagon model (see video) is 5.15 meters long and comes with three rows of seats – you can even move the second row back or forward for convenience. The equipment includes a digital dashboard, a widescreen sensor-based infotainment system, and a multi-zone HVAC. Panoramic roof comes optional.
