Watch Travis Pastrana jump over a bridge in his custom stunt car

Witnesses from Florida have captured a stunt in which famous trick driver Travis Pastrana jumped over a gap in a bridge behind the steering wheel of his 900-horsepower wagon, the Family Huckster.

It looks like Pastrana and his crew were filming a new episode of Gymkhana, but the details remain unknown. As for the car itself, it copies the aesthetic of the Subaru GL Wagon from the 1980s and sends 912 PS (900 hp / 671 kW) to all four wheels through a six-speed sequential transmission.

There were crazier stunts in Pastrana’s biography as well: for example, he used a modified WRX STI to leap over a gulf in Annapolis. Just when the next Gymkhana episode will air is open to speculation. Ken Block, who used to be the project’s main pilot and star, left it for Audi and his new project dubbed the Electrikhana. Audi built a special EV for him, but the show still hasn’t kicked off.
