Car Tuning
The retired basketball star who turned 52 this year has ordered another Tesla Cybertruck for himself – this time around properly sized and otherwise outfitted to turn heads.
Effortless Motors carried out the commission. Working with a three-motor Cyberbeast spec, the tuners flared the fenders by a lot and redesigned the interior to accommodate O’Neal’s impressive bulk. The 7’1” (216 cm) tall basketball legend actually bought another Cybertruck a while ago, but had trouble getting in and out, so that one was left parked in the garage. Hopefully the new one sees more use!
On the outside, you can easily recognize O’Neal’s electric pickup by its matte-black carbon-fiber trim encasing the entire body, matching fender flares in exposed carbon fiber, and blacked-out décor. The arches are occupied by 26-inch wheels shod in off-road tires, and there is red backlight all around for extra style points.
Giving an EV like the Cybertruck a lightweight body may be a good idea, but this isn’t the case here. The truck still wears its OEM steel panels, so the carbon fiber all around is purely for show and only serves to add weight.
