Toyan has shared a video introducing its latest RC car engine – a tiny V8 that combines performance and affordability in a small package.
Called the Toyan FS-V800, it is now available to preorder starting from $1,799.99. Buyers can choose between a DIY kit and a pre-assembled crate engine for their toy cars and replicas.
The block sports a straight-angle, cross-shaped crankshaft and runs on nitrous fuel with no other options at this moment. It has a dual-carburetor setup and uses an in-built water pump for cooling.
The manufacturer claims the Toyan FS-V800 is perfect for performance-focused RC cars, but warns that frame is not included in the shipment. Those willing to install it in their toy rides and replicas will have to modify the existing engine bay and frame accordingly to accommodate it, or rebuild them from scratch.
