Check out the custom 1987 Toyota Dolphin motorhome

Here is a unique home on wheels specified with a wood-trimmed interior and the chassis of a 1987 Toyota Dolphin, which in turn was a variant of the Hilux pickup back in the era.

The overall impression of the wooden camper with its stained-glass window is that of a two-centuries-old galley. Its engine, while not quite as old, is still the unassuming 2.4-liter Toyota 22R-E inline-four barely delivering 114 PS (112 hp / 84 kW) and 190 Nm (140 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels.

The living module itself comes trimmed with solid wood and features a folding sofa, a bed, a stove with three burners, a fridge, a sink, a fresh water tank and multiple lighting fixtures.

Given its age, it is not without its flaws. There is rust in some places, and the interior needs a complete overhaul.
