After fourteen long years of no updates, Toyota has finally shared a short teaser video confirming the development of the next-generation Tundra truck.
The video manages to briefly flash the front fascia with headlights and T-shaped DRLs, as well as yellow turn blinkers, anti-fog lamps and a glowing section in the middle. A recently published spy photo also revealed a new radiator grille.
Rumor has it the new Tundra takes advantage of a body-on-frame architecture named the F1, which the manufacturer plans on using in the next-gen 4Runner, Sequoia and Tacoma models.
No technical specifications are provided. In all likelihood, the truck will trade its 5.7-liter V8 for a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 rated up to 450 PS (444 hp / 331 kW). A hybrid version is also likely to come out.
