VW Tiguan Urban Sport arrives with more style, same tech

Volkswagen has introduced a new version of its Tiguan crossover: the Urban Sport.

Compared to the stock SUV shown in the video, the upmarket version boasts chrome on its bumpers and radiator grille, a large rear spoiler and built-in image projectors for bragging rights. Blacked-out elements include 18-inch Sebring wheels, roof rails, side mirrors, and window bezels. The Urban Sport logo is also black.

The inside space is trimmed with fabric and imitation leather, has 30 selectable ambient lighting shades, red stitching throughout, and red-rimmed floor mats. The pedal pads are metallic, and the steering gear ratio is now adjustable.

Standard features include Discover Media audio, rain sensors, an 8-inch infotainment screen, sat-nav, App-Connect, a reversing camera with a washer nozzle, heated seats all around, power mirrors, cruise control, and 3-zone HVAC.
